U.S. 129 (State Road 49) from Hilliard Avenue to the Suwannee County Line Resurfacing
Overview
The project consists of roadway milling and resurfacing including existing lane and shoulder width corrections, cross slope corrections, shoulder widening / reconstruction, drainage improvements, asphalt curb, sidewalk, signing and pavement markings, Intersection Collision Warning System (ICWS) Installation, guardrail and Thrie-Beam retrofit safety improvements, and other incidental roadway items. FDOT selected Anderson Columbia Inc. to complete this $11 million project. Completion is estimated in summer 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Drivers can expect daytime lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. No lane closures will be allowed between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.
