The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is scheduled to resurface U.S. 90 (State Road 10) from Greenville to Southwest Captain Brown Road. The project consists of milling and resurfacing, removing, and replacing the upper layers of asphalt, asphalt grade adjustments, drainage improvements and rehabilitation, new highway signing and pavement markings, and other incidental construction items.
Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT plans and design standards throughout the project. Drivers can expect daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. No lane closures will be allowed between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. During construction, the posted speed limit is expected to be lowered for the safety of vehicles and construction crews. FDOT selected Anderson Columbia Inc. to complete this project by the estimated completion date, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
