A proposed warehouse distribution center is planned for construction on the north side of Lem Turner Road just west of I-295 in Duval County. FDOT is proposing modifications to the median opening at Newcomb Road and a proposed second driveway. These modifications would improve safety and provide an efficient way to enter and exit properties along this section of Lem Turner Road. The full median opening that currently exists in front of Newcomb Road would be directionalized to allow two stages for left-ins onto Lem Turner Road but no left-outs. The proposed secondary driveway would permit both right-in and right-out movements.
