Beach Boulevard (SR 212) from west of 12th Street to State Road A1A
Overview
Watson Civil Construction, Inc. was chosen to complete this project which consists of milling and resurfacing, base work, drainage improvements, curb and gutter, traffic signals and highway signing installation, sidewalk improvements and other incidental construction. Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. No lane closures will be allowed from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Workers will maintain sidewalk space for pedestrians on one side of Beach Boulevard at all times. Existing businesses in work areas will be provided with adequate entrances for vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a hybrid access management public meeting on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, from 4:30 – 6 p.m. with a public comment period beginning at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend the meeting in-person at the Church of Our Savior, 2092 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32250, virtually by registering at the link below or by phone at (914) 614-3221 (enter access code 191-127-383). Both virtual and in-person participants will be given equal opportunity to ask questions and make oral statements that will become part of the public record.
