The hybrid meeting will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 with an informal open house from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and a formal presentation beginning at 6 p.m. Citizens may participate online at nflroads.com/VPH or by phone at (213) 929-4212 using access code 777-897-321. Citizens who are unable to participate virtually may attend the meeting in person at the FDOT Urban Office Training Center located at 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204.
Project documents and presentations are now available for review at nflroads.com/VPH, and public comments will be accepted as part of the project record now through September 20, 2021. Citizens who wish to participate in person may do so at the FDOT Urban Office. FDOT staff and consultants will be available from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to answer questions and accept comments. A formal hearing and public comment period will begin at 6 p.m. Presentations, project-related materials, and the opportunity to speak, submit comments and ask questions will be the same whether participants attend online or in person.
Persons wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits in place of or in addition to oral statements may do so during the hearing or any time before September 20, 2021 by submitting them via email to FDOT Project Manager at Michael.Carter@dot.state.fl.us or via traditional mail to Michael Carter, P.E., 1109 S. Marion Street, Lake City, FL 32025. All exhibits or statements postmarked on or before September 20, 2021 will become part of the public hearing record.
