The Florida Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin work on the Dennis Howell Road Bridge replacement project in summer 2024. The project includes the removal and replacement of the existing bridge structure over Warrior Creek, placement of graded aggregate base and structural asphalt, guardrail installation, ditch grading, type A fencing, drainage work and other incidental construction on Dennis Howell Road in Taylor County. During construction, lane closures of the current bridge will be implemented to facilitate construction. Anderson Columbia, Inc was selected to complete the $3.2 million project by spring 2025, weather and circumstances permitting.
