The FDOT is constructing Express Lanes on I-295 from SR 9B to J. Turner Butler Boulevard (SR 202) to improve travel reliability and to provide additional capacity and long-term mobility options. This subsequent Public Hearing is to present changes made to the project currently under construction. These changes include increasing the number of general use lanes to three in each direction. The Department is also evaluating the feasibility of adding/extending noise barriers in the project area, along with a few additional minor improvements. FDOT encourages you to get involved and provide comments regarding the social, economic, access management, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements.
