I-10 (State Road 8) Milling and Resurfacing Project
Overview

The asphalt resurfacing project consists of removing and replacing the upper layers of asphalt, asphalt grade adjustments, concrete pier protection installation at the overpasses, drainage improvements and rehabilitation, new highway signing and pavement markings, bridge rehabilitation, wrong-way detection system installation at the interchanges, guardrail replacement, concrete ditch pavement installation, rumble strip installation, and other incidental construction items.

Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. Drivers can expect single-lane closures Monday through Friday during the daytime hours.

Construction completion dates are fluid and subject to change based on weather and schedule permitting.
