U.S. 1 from Ingham Road to the Georgia State Line resurfacing
Overview

FDOT will begin a milling and resurfacing project from Ingham Road to the Georgia State Line in early 2024. In addition to milling and resurfacing, the project will include driveway entrance improvements, milling and resurfacing of the weigh station, guardrail installation, sidewalk construction and traffic signal and signage updates.

Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. No lane closures will be allowed between 6:30 and 8:30 a.m. Anderson Columbia, Co. has been selected by FDOT to complete the project.

Hybrid Public Meeting (Thursday, September 22, 2022)

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend a hybrid public meeting on Thursday, September 22, 4-6pm, to discuss the removal of on-street parking on U.S. 1 in Nassau County from Ingham Road to the Georgia State line as part of the fall 2023 resurfacing project.

Citizens who are unable to participate virtually or by phone may attend the meeting in person at Hilliard First Assembly of God, 550920 U.S. 1, Hilliard, Florida 32046. Open house period: 4 to 6 p.m. This meeting is informal. No presentation will be provided. Project team members will be available to answer questions and concerns during the open house period.
