Chaffee Road Turn Lane
Overview

Contractor R.B. Baker Construction began work in April 2019 on a project to add a turn lane and make other improvements to Chaffee Road (County Road 115) at Normandy Boulevard (State Road 228).

Project work will include milling and resurfacing, traffic signal upgrades, construction of drainage structures and ditch pavement and installation of a JEA water main.

Most project work will take place during daytime hours Monday through Friday. No lane closures will be permitted from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. or from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The posted speed limit, which varies from 45 to 50 miles per hour within the project area, will remain in place throughout construction.
