Clet Harvey Road Bridge over Turkey Creek Replacement
Overview

The FDOT is conducting a Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study to replace the Clet Harvey Road Bridge over Turkey Creek in Baker County, Florida.

The proposed improvements recommend replacing the existing one lane timber bridge with a one-lane concrete bridge.

The FDOT is evaluating a detour route to maintain traffic during construction.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be hold a public meeting to discuss the proposed bridge replacement of two bridges on Clet Harvey Road in Baker County, Florida. The two projects are:

The FDOT is currently conducting a Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study to replace the Clet Harvey Road Bridge over Turkey Creek and the bridge over Mud Lake Swamp. The proposed improvements recommend replacing the existing one lane timber bridge with a one lane concrete bridge.

The FDOT is proposing to start construction with the Mud Lake Swamp bridge and then move to the Turkey Creek bridge. Both bridges will not be closed at the same time.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C.§ 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated March 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
