The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has begun a sidewalk project on U.S. 90 (State Road 10) in Lake City from Birley Avenue to Brown Road eastbound.

Improvements will include the addition of sidewalk from Birley Avenue to Brown Road eastbound to connect existing sidewalk across from Tractor Supply.

CDM Contracting Inc., Inc. is expected to complete the $198,000 improvements by spring 2023.

Daytime work is expected Monday through Friday; however, limited lane closures are anticipated throughout the duration of the project.

Construction completion dates are fluid and subject to change based on weather and schedule permitting.
